My First Opera Recording Still Holds Up
Fifty years ago, when I was 19 and a junior in college, I worked as a bellman at a resort hotel in Chautauqua, NY, a summer cultural colony near Jamestown.

Beautiful singing from the entire cast throughout, some at unsurpassed level.
This set is quite phenonmenal: nearly all the protagonists turned up with exceptional vocal performances.
